Clinical Care · Zaha Health
Muhibbah Khan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. She earned both her B.A. in Psychology (minor in Human Development & Family Studies) and her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston.
As a Pakistani American Muslim woman, Muhibbah works closely with individuals from diverse and minority backgrounds. She is drawn to the problems that arise when individualistic and collectivist cultures come together — and to the connection between religion and mental health — offering Islamic counseling alongside evidence-based clinical care.
Her clinical approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. She has supported clients through anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and the weight of cultural identity.
At Zaha, Muhibbah joins as one of the first therapists — bringing that same presence to Muslims who have been waiting for care that holds their faith and their clinical needs in the same room.
Zaha's care is built around programs — a licensed therapist and a spiritual advisor on one shared plan, working together. That coordinated model is where the real change happens; it's the reason Zaha exists.
